Festive Spirit at VIAOPTIC

Last Friday, the VIAOPTIC team kicked off the holiday season with the annual Christmas party. Delicious food, diverse music, and a festive program featuring a humorous poem set the tone for the cheerful evening.

A highlight of the night was the celebration of 15 remarkable employee anniversaries. Our 50-year honoree, Bernd Rühl, received a standing ovation as he accepted his certificate. The 30-year anniversary of Vera Heier was also honored with great applause—an extraordinary milestone celebrated by everyone in attendance. In addition, we recognized two 15-year and eleven 10-year anniversaries.

Among the honorees was CEO Bernhard Willnauer, who himself celebrated 15 years with the company. When a long-time companion reflected on their shared journey, the moment turned visibly emotional. The CEO summed it up perfectly: “Time flew by—it doesn’t feel like 15 years.”

This evening once again highlighted what makes our team special: the people behind our highly precise products, who together overcome all challenges. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this evening—and the past years—so unique!
